Local Government Workforce Leaders 09 is a challenging and thought-provoking event from the IDeA and LGE (part of the LGA Group), designed specifically to address the difficult workforce decisions that most local authorities will have to make over the next few years.
This unique forum offers a series of high-level perspectives and interactive workshops on the many challenges arising from the economic downturn, the evolution of the Local Government Workforce Strategy and an imminent General Election.
Delegates will actively discuss and debate the best approach to tackling strategic workforce issues, using input from thought leaders across the public sector and the experiences of authorities that have already been through significant transformations.
In this way, the event aims to provide fresh inspiration for all workforce leaders working in local government, facilitating creative solutions to common problems and the formulation of successful workforce strategies for the future.
